Greece, eight parcel bombs sent to European Union institutions defused

A Greek militant group, Conspiracy of Fire Cells, had claimed responsibility for the first suspect package sent to Germany and intercepted on March 15. Eight parcel bombs have been found and neutralised by police in Greece . The anti-terrorist services reckon that the action was carried out by anarchists from the organisation Conspiracy of Fire Cells. (more...)

Two people have been detained on suspicion of involvement in providing a weapon to a Frenchman who was shot to death after attacking soldiers guarding Paris' Orly airport. He also stole a auto before arriving at the airport. 'My son was never a terrorist , ' said the father. He never attended prayer. His house was among dozens searched in the immediate aftermath of suicide bomb-and-gun attacks that killed 130 people in Paris in November 2015. (more...)

The Afghan Army solider opened fire during a military exercise at a base in southern Afghanistan. Turkey's government announced on Monday that it will impose political sanctions against Netherlands, which include suspending high-level relations and all planned meetings with Dutch citizens as well as banning the Dutch ambassador from entering Turkey.
