He was wanted in the death of ChenWei Guo, a student from China who was found shot to death in his vehicle in a rugged canyon near the University of Utah campus. A woman showed up on the U campus and said she had been assaulted by her husband while they were camping up Red Butte Canyon. That death is being investigated as a homicide and the Boutains are suspects, the Golden Police Department said in a statement. (more...)

While most parts of the BTK railway were modernized, a 109-kilometer-long segment running from Georgia (30 km) into Turkey (79 km) was built. Lower prices have helped SpaceX expand its USA government customer base. The rocket carried KT Sat's Koreasat 5A communications satellite into orbit. Most geostationary telecom satellites last for 15 years. Koreasat-5A launch attempt. Bodies were taken to hospital to be identified but most were burned beyond recognition. "Most of [those found dead] were piled up in the back, because it seemed they were trying to avoid the fire at the front". All the injured have been rushed into nearby hospitals for treatment.
