Senior representatives from the USA and Russian militaries met in an undisclosed location "somewhere in the Middle East" to discuss the tensions surrounding the anti-ISIS fight in Syria, the AP reports. Col. Ryan Dillon, the US military spokesman in Baghdad, told NPR yesterday that the U.S.is not interested in grabbling land from the Assad government, and that such questions should be decided after ISIS is defeated. Sunday when New Castle police received a report of a man breaking into cars near K Avenue and Columbus Street. The man seems unaffected when the officer fires the stun gun and quickly rushes toward the officer. But the Taser proved ineffective, according to Moore. At some point, the man then reached toward the back of his waistband and made a "threatening statement ", which caused the officer to believe the man was arming himself, authorities said. (more...)
