The incident came as several Navy ships in the area were conducting routine patrol operations. Concerned about a collision, the U.S. Navy fired warning shots into the waters near the Iranian boat. No warning shots were fired. The Iranian ship then halted its approach, concluding an event in which the Navy told Newsweek that Iran failed to comply with the 1972 International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs). Governor Rauner is waiting for an education bill that lawmakers passed, but not yet sent to the governor for his signature. "We must act now, which is why I'm calling lawmakers back to Springfield for a special session". Administrators at many schools say they have reserves or other means of opening, but some question for how long. Sanchez was allegedly drunk and livestreaming on Instagram when her Buick veered off the road and flipped into a field after crashing through a barbed wire fence, cops say.
