Jadhav was tried for alleged espionage and sabotage by a Field General Court Martial and handed the death sentence for his involvement in various anti-state activities. According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, Jadhav was kidnapped in 2016 from Iran while his subsequent detention had never been "explained credibly" by the Pakistani side. (more...)

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton reacted Friday to the United States strike on Syria, saying the United States needs a long-term plan to stop future attacks on civilians by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. Hours before the attack, Clinton called for the attack in the war-torn country. A senior opposition official said 20 fighters who guarded the buses were killed as well as dozens of passengers. The civil guard based on the island of Mallorca said their ships had found two boats with 14 men each both on Thursday and Friday.
