Energous has also developed a version of the charger that works from 15 feet away, but for now only the three-foot version has been approved by the FCC . If a user get a call or wants to check something, and lift the device, the charging will stop. With many more smart devices expected to launch with wireless charging support from next year, it may become the new standard for charging smartphones and smartwatches soon. (more...)

The final app, called Scubbies, is a playful way to speed up and slow down your videos . Google also introduced an Android-exclusive app that uses computer vision , object recognition and other advanced technologies to pick out still images from a video and place them in a single-page comic layout. In June, Mr. Trump signed an executive order re-establishing the long dormant National Space Council , a space policy advisory body that was last active some 25 years ago. Robert Lightfoot, NASA's acting administrator, said he thinks the new directive could provide "a sense of urgency" to NASA's spaceflight pursuits.
