It launched an insurgency in 2009 that has killed about 20,000 people and displaced around 2.6 million others, creating one of the world's biggest humanitarian crises. Most of its residents are Muslims but there is a considerable number of Christians. Their goal was to free members of Boko Haram held in prison. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbassi on Thursday has announced a state funeral for the messiah of Pakistani lepers Dr. Ruth Pfau who passed away at a Karachi hospital on Thursday. Later she joined a Catholic order and eventually came to Pakistan in 1960. Great Ormond Street said it had "moved heaven and earth" to find a hospice willing to take Charlie but even so his death must take place on the day he arrives, for insurance reasons.
