The CPSC, Target and Bulls i Toy need to acknowledge the obvious - that all fidget spinners are toys. Lead exposure can be extremely harmful for children due to its developmental impacts. (more...)

The Middle Eastern carrier said it bought nearly 3.8 million Cathay shares, which represents a 9.6 per cent stake in Hong Kong's biggest airline. The Bank is looking to cool surging inflation, which has been sent higher by sharp falls in the pound since the Brexit vote. BoE Deputy Governor Ben Broadbent said on Friday that the Bank's signal that it may need to raise interest rates two more times is "not a promise", responding to a question about the BoE's previous attempts to signal the likely path for interest rates, which were knocked off course by twists and turns in the economy. Traditional owners have been asking visitors not to climb Uluru since the 1985 handback and signs requesting people reconsider climbing have been in place at the base of the climb area since 1992. Australian tourists are most likely to climb the rock followed by the Japanese, according to the park's figures. And the date of October 26 was chosen because it's an anniversary; on October 26 in 1985, custodianship of the park was transferred back to its Aboriginal owners, the Anangu. (more...)
