In some cases, there were duplicated records, implying that the 4 million leaks may be half. Kromtech said it would take "weeks" to sort through the files, which amount to more than 600 GB of data. Engineers are deemed to have accidentally leaked not only partner data but also internal sensitive data to malicious individuals. The test cars will actually be manually driven by a Ford safety engineer and staffed with researchers, according to the release. In 2016, it tested prototypes of the first ever autonomous delivery vehicle in Brisbane, Australia. But we'll know Ford is truly serious about this specific market if they start testing much smaller vehicles that are custom-built for deliveries. Uber Technologies reported lower loss by almost 9 per cent in the second quarter of this year as ride bookings jumped. The San Francisco-based company said it lost $645 million in the second quarter, 9 percent less than the $708 million loss in the first quarter and 35 percent less than the $991 million loss in the fourth quarter of past year.
