According to reports , the board held Murthy exclusively responsible for the departure of a "valued" employee. U.S. stocks ended slightly firmer on Wednesday but off the day's highs as worries mounted over President Donald Trump's agenda and minutes from the latest Federal Reserve meeting suggested policymakers are anxious about weak inflation. WTI crude oil for September delivery dropped $1.23, or 2.5%, to settle at $47.59 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Oil prices fell on news that refinery runs in China dropped in July. Analysts expect a drop of 3.176 million in crude stocks in the US last week, and a 1.527 million decline in gasoline inventories with distillate supplies down by 620,000 barrels. (more...)

The Toyota Mazda plant is due to begin operations by 2021. Toyota said it would not move Corolla production to its plant in Mexico, which is now under construction, but it would instead make its Tacoma model there. The Bank said it might raise borrowing costs a bit more than investors expect over the next three years. Copa Flight 208 had just landed at 2:30 p.m. today and was waiting to taxi to its arrival gate. He says the teenager is a US citizen and appeared to be in emotional distress during the flight.
