Titans to play Chargers in London next season

Eagles to play Jaguars in London in 2018 regular season

The Seahawks vs. Raiders matchup will be the NFL's debut game played at the new Tottenham Hotspur venue.

It is a reduction from the 2017-18 schedule, when London hosted four matches, including two at Twickenham, which is without a game next season.

Two other games will be held in London this upcoming season, with the Eagles facing the Jaguars and the Seahawks facing the Raiders - the latest contests in an worldwide era that the Chargers helped kick off.

"We are excited as a franchise to be playing in London as part of the NFL's International Series", said Titans Controlling Owner Amy Adams Strunk.

The Jaguars' footprint in London continues to grow, as the team has registered over 75,000 fans in the United Kingdom and rank eighth among NFL teams in European NFL merchandise sales.

The club have secured a 10-year deal with the NFL to stage two games a season in their yet-to-be-named state-of-the-art new home, which is being custom-built for both the round-ball game and American football.

Ecuador gives nationality to Wikileaks' Assange
In London, police say they are "obliged" to arrest Assange if he leaves the embassy, for breaching the terms of his bail in 2012. But a year ago , the Australian, 46, angered Ecuadorian president Lenin Moreno by tweeting support for Catalan separatists.

The Titans were initially scheduled to play the Chargers in Los Angeles, so Tennessee will not be giving up one of its eight home games next season at Nissan Stadium.

The game will be played in week six of the season on October 14.

'This is one of the cornerstones of our vision for creating a world-class sports and leisure destination that will make Tottenham a hive of activity 365 days a year and drive the regeneration of one of the most deprived areas of London. If they end up being boring games, it's hard to say the National Football League didn't try its best to send over a trio of good games.

The last time the Colts played overseas resulted in a 30-27 loss to the Jaguars in Week 4 of the 2016 regular season.

The NFL kicked off its series of regular-season games in London in 2007, when the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium on their way to winning the Super Bowl. The order of those games will be announced closer to the season. "We are very excited to be welcoming some outstanding playoff teams to the stadium in 2018 and hope our strong partnership will continue for years to come".

"It has been 10 years since we last played in London, and other than the outcome of the game back in 2008, the experience there among the global fans was pretty cool", Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers told the team's website.
