Trump Argues the Russia Investigation Is Hurting the US Government

Trump says 'We need the wall'

President Trump is downplaying the possibility that he'll take part in an interview with FBI investigators.

The US President has declined to commit to an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller who is leading an investigation into the alleged collusion between Trump and Russian Federation, a probe the current occupant of the White House has repeatedly called a "witch hunt".

She said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on October 8 that there's "no proof" yet that there was any collusion between Russian Federation and Trump's campaign, adding: "I think that proof will likely come with Mr. Mueller's investigation".

Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues the investigation into Russia's alleged involvement in the 2016 United States presidential election.

"We'll see what happens", Trump said Wednesday while taking questions alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg.

"There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes", Trump tweeted. "And I respect that very much", she said. "Republicans should finally take control!"

Mark Davis has been chasing Jon Gruden for six years
The Oakland Raiders officially named Jon Gruden their head coach on Sunday, and on Tuesday, held an introductory press conference. Cowboys special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia will be allowed out of his contract to join Gruden, per Rapoport.

Trump, who has repeatedly denied any collusion, reportedly thought an interview would relieve concerns his campaign colluded with Russian Federation.

The comments implied a U-turn from last June when the president said he would be "100 per cent" willing to testify under oath about his interactions with James Comey, whom he fired as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

At a press conference in the summer, Trump said he was "100%" willing to testify under oath about his conversations with James B. Comey, whom he fired as Federal Bureau of Investigation director in May. The president called the move "a disgrace", but the information wasn't classified and Feinstein didn't need authorization to release it. A Politico/Morning Consult poll released this week found that a plurality of respondents, 48 percent, believed that Trump would be exonerated by Mueller.

Often, Trump's denials of collusion came on Twitter, which you'll probably not be shocked to learn.

Earlier, the commander in chief criticized Sen. Whether that's true depends to some extent on how you view things like Papadopoulos's awareness of incriminating emails collected by the Russians or Trump Jr.'s responding to the pitch for dirt on Clinton from the Russians with "I love it" - and then sitting down for the meeting.

Also Wednesday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, and FBI Director Christopher Wray were on Capitol Hill to speak to Warner and the Republican chairman of the Senate intelligence panel, North Carolina Sen.
