The National Weather Service has highs in the single digits to low teens through Friday, and lows in the single digits below and above zero.

Wind chills in the 40 to 50 below range, or even lower, were expected in some spots Saturday night, according to the weather service, which added that wind chills of 35 to 45 below zero are expected for Sunday, New Year's Eve, and into the first morning of 2018 on Monday, Jan. 1. Once again, we will be under a Wind Chill Advisory for the rest of the night and into Sunday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS. A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, low around 8 below.

Temperatures tomorrow will remain at or below 0 all day with a NW wind 5-10 miles per hour creating wind chills of -15 to -25 throughout the day. Pay special attention to infants and young children, who may not be able to express how cold they are feeling, as well as the elderly and those in poor health, who are affected more than others by weather extremes.

Monday night: Mostly clear, low around 6 below.

Monday: Sunny, high near 3.
