Nokia 6 (2018) passes through TENAA certification

Nokia 9 Nokia 6 Said to Receive 3C Certification Mystery Nokia Models Spotted

Even though the TENAA listing doesn't reveal anything about the upcoming handset, according to a report by NokiaPowerUser, this will be the Nokia 6 (2018). The company has retained the similar full metal unibody design like the Nokia 6, so, you will have the same premium hand feel like the original Nokia 6. As of now nothing could be said with a confirmation, but one thing is certain that this device must have cleared the TENAA certification in China. A gap of exactly a year between the two phones makes the upcoming launch look likely, as the majority of manufacturers have been sticking to yearly releases when it comes to updating their product families. It will feature reduced bezels and ditch the hardware touch buttons for the on-screen keys. The rear-faced fingerprint scanner means the smartphone is likely to have narrow bezels and a taller display just like the recently launched smartphone.

While details are unavailable yet, rumours suggest it will come with latest Snapdragon 600 series specifically the previous rumour pointed out at the usage of Snapdragon 660 SoC. It's worth noting the current Nokia 6 launched on January 19 2017. It is mandatory for the phones to get certified from TENNA before its sale in China. It will probably come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC on board and will include 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. A smartphone model, TA-1054, which is touted to be the Nokia 6 (2018), recently passed TENAA certification in China. What exactly the Nokia 9 will do to set itself apart from the updated models of older Nokia phones remains to be seen. The camera will also be a single-sensor model. Likewise, the new Nokia 6 may also fall under the budget phone category - however, there are no official word on the same as of yet. The device runs Android Nougat out of the box.
