IDF Issues Warning After Gaza Rocket Fire Strikes Israeli Kindergarten

Israel demolishes tunnel 'belonging to Hamas' from Gaza into its territory

The IDF announced on Sunday, 22 Kislev, another Hamas tunnel originating in Gaza and stretching into southern Israel has been discovered and destroyed.

A network of Gaza tunnels allowed Hamas gunmen to blindside Israel's superior forces during the 2014 war and the Israelis, with USA help, have since stepped up work on counter-measures.

The tunnel had electricity and other amenities, such as ventilation and communications equipment, suggesting that it was a significant tunnel for Hamas, the IDF also said in a statement. The system was first used to detect a tunnel that was destroyed on October 30, but other aspects of the system were used this time around, he said.

The demolition of the tunnel, which began in Khan Younis and extended past the Israeli-Gaza border into farmland in southern Israel near the Gaza border, comes about six weeks after another tunnel was discovered and blown up, while members of the Islamic Jihad, which was digging the tunnel, were inside.

PS4 Hits 70 Million Sales, PSVR Hits 2 Million
According to the announcement, the PlayStation VR has now sold more than 2m units and more than 12.2m PSVR games have been sold. This is a big jump from June's numbers, which pinned PSVR sales at close to the one million mark .

Although there were no terrorists inside of the terror tunnel upon locating it, the IDF eliminated the tunnel without blowing it up. Nevertheless, the IDF stated that it "holds Hamas responsible for the hostile activity perpetrated against Israel from the Gaza Strip".

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said the tunnels were an unacceptable threat and that Israel would invest "every resource" to stop them.

Two Palestinians were martyred on Saturday when Israeli warplanes carried out raids in the Gaza Strip following a rocket fire.

According to him, the operation was not linked to the recent clashes and protests over last week's declaration by Trump of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
