Nintendo

It was a brief, sort of "pre-Christmas" report, but Sony popped in this morning to inform us that they've pushed 70.6 million PS4 units sold worldwide as of December 3, 2017.

"At our gaming business, sales of the PlayStation 4 are strong heading into the holidays".

PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport Bundle - $199.99 (save $100): The bundle includes a PS VR system, a PS Camera, a copy of GT Sport, and the new PS VR demo disc. This is a big jump from June's numbers, which pinned PSVR sales at close to the one million mark.

As well as this, companies have created 150 titles for the virtual reality entertainment system. Next year, when the Xbox One X starts getting some heavy support and dedicated games (made for that hardware) it'll be interesting to see if Sony continues to dominate or if Microsoft finally catches up.

Brush fire breaks out in Los Angeles
Large animals were ordered to evacuate at Hansen Dam Equestrian Center, Pierce College and the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. The fire burned more than 11,000 acres by Wednesday morning and had destroyed an estimated 30 homes, KTVU-TV reported.

Looking ahead to 2018, PS4 has a number of major exclusives due for release, including God of War, Detroit: Become Human, and Spider-Man.

Sony on Thursday announced a new milestone for the PlayStation 4 with more than 70 million units sold worldwide.

"I can not thank our fans and partners enough", Andrew House said, Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO. House also further reflected Sony's sentiment that "we will continue to work closely with partners to maintain this momentum and remain steadfast in making PS4 the best place to play". According to the announcement, the PlayStation VR has now sold more than 2m units and more than 12.2m PSVR games have been sold. Prior to it's launch many people thought of the Nintendo Switch as an afterthought. That's pretty impressive considering it was only released in March.
