Buffallo Bills trade DT Marcell Dareus to Jacksonville Jaguars

Taylor has excelled both as a runner and a passer

Friday afternoon, the Buffalo Bills announced that they had traded two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Marcell Dareus to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"Jacksonville reached out to us today and we thought about it and talked it through as an organization and decided it was a good move for the Bills and a good move for Marcell", Bills first-year general manager Brandon Beane said Friday, via Buffalo's team website.

There's no doubting Dareus' talent.

The fact that the Bills got rid of Dareus isn't a complete surprise, as the team had been looking to dump him for several weeks.

In May 2014, Dareus was arrested in the Buffalo suburb of Hamburg on street-racing charges after crashing his vehicle in a restaurant parking lot.

Microsoft cloud annualized run rate passes $20 billion
Surface revenue by itself was up 12% from a year ago, which is good news for Microsoft following a dip in the previous quarter . As for Windows, revenue from companies putting Pro versions of the operating system on devices was up by 4 percent.

As for the actual details on Dareus' contract figures, he's now playing on a six-year deal (signed in 2015) worth $60 million in guarantees and according to Spotrac, he's scheduled to make a little under $6 million in base salary this year.

But, Beane did mention that Dareus was a "question mark" this season. He tallied 17 1/2 sacks between those two seasons and will join a Jacksonville defense that leads the league in sacks. But he has been suspended twice by the National Football League and sent home by new coach Sean McDermott. He was sent home from Baltimore before a Bills preseason game there in August. It later became known that he missed the team buses taking the Bills from their hotel to M&T Bank Stadium for the game.

The deal leaves the Bills on the hook for a sizable amount of dead money against the cap. And so the next most logical step was a trade with a team in need of a boost on their defensive interior.

On the Jaguars side, Dareus will have a salary-cap number of $5.73 million in 2017.

Beane, who replaced Whaley after he was sacked in May, and McDermott are in the midst of a restructuring of the Bills' roster and salary-cap structure.
