Australia opening batsman Aaron Finch posts photo of team bus window after being smashed by a rock

"While no one was injured, the Australian players were understandably shaken up by the incident".

A rock was thrown at Australia's team bus after Tuesday's Twenty20 victory in India and smashed a window, batsman Aaron Finch appears to have revealed. The seat next to the window was unoccupied at the time.

Meanwhile, city police have arrested two persons on suspicion on their involvement in rock throwing at the bus of Australian cricket team.

According to a statement issued by the chief minister, Khanna termed the security and facilities provided to teams in Guwahati as immaculate and said these had set the benchmark for other events of such stature that India might host in the future.

"Really unfortunate incident after a great game aimed to tarnish Guwahati's reputation as an emerging sports hub".

However, Rathore said that the cricket team was satisfied with the safety and security arrangements made by the state. "We strongly condemn it", Sonowal said on his official Twitter account.

Oral Cholera Vaccination Campaign for Rohingya Refugees Begins
He said authorities have banned any Bangladeshi or foreigner from entering the settlements after 5:00 pm. He alleged Myanmar of not taking Rohingya refugees back despite the mounting global pressure.

"Have spoken to Sarbananda Sonowalji about the Guwahati incident".

The rock, believed to be roughly the size of a cricket ball, was thrown at a window on the right-hand side of the bus, while it was returning from the stadium.

That prompted authorities to tighten security around the Australia team.

The rock left a large hole in a window towards the back of the bus.

The report about the unsavory incident became viral after Australian opener Aaron Finch had tweeted a picture of a broken glass window of the bus.

India will play the third and final Twenty20 worldwide on October 13.
