Kachikwu who also presented five prayers to the President to save the oil sector from collapse said he was always being blocked from seeing the President.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, had written a petition to President Buhari, alleging acts of insubordination and humiliation by the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Dr. Maikanti Baru.

However, Kachikwu declined comments when accosted by State House Correspondents after the meeting and was escorted out of the building by the special adviser media to the president, Femi Adesina.

Three days ago, a letter surface online originating from the Petroleum minister and addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari whom he had reportedly tried to gain hearing from unsuccessfully.

Kachikwu had in the letter complained to Buhari on the conduct of Baru, and that several efforts to have audience with the president had yielded no fruit.
