"The Singapore Grand Prix, the Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Government have all done an excellent job of making this an event that involves the whole city".

Inaugurated in 2008, the Singapore Grand Prix was Formula One's first ever night race. Aside from being a street race, the Singapore GP is also known for holding a strong line-up of concerts as well as other entertainment shows. The only night race on the calendar will continue until 2021.
