Watch Hillary Clinton's First Post-Election TV Interview

Hillary Clinton didn't have a firm answer to the first question she answered in a new TV interview: how are you?

Appearing on CBS's Sunday Morning, Clinton told Jane Pauley, "I am done with being a candidate". "Yes. As an active politician, it's over", Hillary replied.

Clinton said she'll remain in national dialogue because she's concerned about the direction of the country, but she's not making a political comeback.

Hillary Clinton revealed that she doesn't plan on running for office ever again, but she won't be leaving politics in all of its forms entirely.

As for what Clinton plans to do in politics next, the wife of former President, Bill Clinton, launched a new Political Action Committee titled, "Onward Together". It's part of the demonstration of the continuity of our government.

In a CNN townhall with Christiane Amanpour in 2014, Hillary Clinton said, "Just because your child gets across the border, that doesn't mean the child gets to stay". "And then his speech, which was a cry from the white nationalist gut!"

Her post-election book tour (for which some tickets cost upwards of $1,000) could either further damage or help bind the political party she led to a loss, depending on how much time she spends blaming Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden and President Barack Obama-bits of which are in the book and have already been leaked-and how much she talks about a path forward.

The book, published by CBS-owned Simon & Schuster, includes an accounting for numerous missteps and strategic errors that Clinton said she made during the campaign, and for which she explicitly takes responsibility.

Clinton reiterated her argument that Comey's decision fewer than two weeks before the election to publicly re-open - and later close - the investigation into her email practices derailed the campaign, asking why Comey did not announce that he was also investigating Trump's potential ties to Russian Federation. You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want - but I was the candidate.

She added: "I understood that there were many Americans who, because of the financial crash, there was anger".

"Off I went into a frenzy of closet cleaning, and long walks in the woods, and playing with my dogs, and yoga, alternate nostril breathing, which I highly recommend, trying to calm myself down and you know my share of Chardonnay", Clinton said during the interview at her Chappaqua home. "Honestly, I wish she'd just shut the fuck up and go away".

Ms Clinton made her comments as she promotes a new memoir, What Happened, published by Simon & Schuster and in which she acknowledges her role in her defeat.

"He was quite successful in referencing a nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others", she said.

She said the word "deplorable" was floating around in her head because 'Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner'. "But then, midnight, I decided, 'well - you know, looks like it's not going to work'".
