Later tonight, the system will be moving along the coast of SC, moving northward off the North Carolina coast by Tuesday morning.

Data shows maximum sustained winds at 44 miles per hour, but meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center say the disturbance has not organized enough to become a named storm.

This morning, thunderstorms are starting to organize off the coast of Georgia. At a minimum, our sky will be mainly cloudy through tomorrow and we will be watching where the western edge of the storm's rain area sets up.

The most likely candidate for Tropical Storm Irma is what the National Hurricane Center is now calling "Potential Tropical Storm Ten", and it's now off the Georgia coast. The latest: * Red flag warnings posted along NC coast * Rain is expected today through Wednesday along the coast * The heaviest rain in the Triangle will be from midnight to 9 a.m.

Luckily, the young boy was only hospitalized for a day, and even tried to go back to the pool the next day. According to WXYX-TV , Jacob found Dylan floating face down in their grandmother's swimming pool.

In addition to the tropical storm warning, 15 counties are under a flash flood watch until Tuesday afternoon. The heavier rains may result in some flooding concerns along coastal areas north of Charleston.

The two-day tropical outlook for the Atlantic shows Harvey still in the Gulf, PTC10 off the Southeast US, and a disturbance off Africa that is expected to develop sometime this week.

While there has been continued uncertainty on the development of this feature, what is not in doubt is that it will deliver surf to most of the US East Coast this week, and likely to others in the extended range. The system is expected to produce total rain accumulations of three to six inches along the South Carolina, North Carolina, and southeast Virginia coasts, with possible isolated maximum amounts of nine inches, the National Hurricane Center said.
