'Twin Peaks: The Return' Actor Arrested For Attempted Murder

“Twin Peaks” actor assured his lone episode on the show will be his last after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend with a baseball bat

Lindholm, 41, of Spokane, Wash., was arrested Wednesday after police received a call about a man at a local business who was assaulting a woman with a bat, according to the Spokane Police Department. The Daily News reports that when his girlfriend failed to return, he became angry and headed to her place of work with the baseball bat.

Upon interviewing both the victim and witnesses at the scene of the crime, police learned the incident was "domestic violence related".

Lindholm is now facing multiple charges, including attempted second degree murder and second degree assault. Surveillance footage apparently shows him striking the woman on the head and body over a dozen times with the baseball bat.

After collecting the video and taking statements from witnesses, police determined that the victim's life had been in danger, suspecting that Lindholm had meant to kill his girlfriend.

He is now being held in the Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond.

The victim was transported to a hospital where she has been treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries. It would have also attempted to stifle it by saying that he wanted to kill her.

Lindholm starred in the sixth episode of the latest season of David Lynch's show. "We really only know him by his work and he's done good work for us". "We are stunned at the news of his arrest", Lindholm's talent agent, Anne Lillian Mitchell, said in a statement to PEOPLE.

Graham said producers would monitor the trial, and if convicted, the actor would no longer work on the TV show in the future.
