Google Pixel 2 sports 'Active Edge' sides: FCC filing

Most notably, the Google Pixel 2 will borrow from the HTC U11 and feature squeezable sides to perform different phone functions, the FCC filing revealed. When combined with other reports, we end up with a list of the 5 reasons you should not buy any other phone and instead wait for the release of the Pixel 2. They are internally known as Taimen (Pixel XL 2) and Walleye (Pixel 2). The FCC filing for last year's Pixel phone curiously surfaced exactly one year ago today, while the phone landed on stores' shelves towards the end of October, so you can expect the patch's date to change by the time the Pixel 2 lands in customers' hands.

While this year's Pixel XL successor widely rumored to be manufactured by LG, the smaller Pixel is expected to be again made by HTC. Not just that, the device will also have a squeezable frame like the HTC U11.

As per the latest reports, Google Pixel 2 series, like its predecessors, is coming in two variants.

Manchester City's Pep Guardiola: "We have to try to improve".
We didn't have full backs and you have to buy full backs. "We spent the first three months in the bottom places". We are strong defensively and I predict 1-1.

When it launches the Pixel 2 will sport 4GB of RAM, apart from 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options.

Active Edge settings live under a new "Languages, input and gestures" tab in Pixel 2's system settings. The phone was previously reported to be the first device to run on the Snapdragon 836 SoC which is likely to be announced in the weeks to follow, possibly at the IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The device's thick bottom bezel will be home to a dual front-facing speaker for richer audio playback. It is worth adding here that this is one storage tier that is missing from the Pixel and the Pixel XL.

The Pixel 2 screenshots (via Android Police) also showed the device was running Android 8.0.1 and featured the navigation bar found on first-generation Pixel. Unfortunately, all at the expense of 3.5mm headphone jack. This added functionality will reportedly allow users to, primarily at least, squeeze the handset to interact with Google Assistant in various ways.
