Federal Bureau of Investigation searches home of ex-Trump aide

The Latest House intel panel to interview Kushner

The FBI raided Manafort's northern Virginia home for tax documents and banking records late last month, signalling that Mueller's investigation had expanded to look at potential money laundering or violations of global tax laws.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Mueller to lead the Russian Federation investigation after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, who had originally been in charge of the bureau's probe.

Manafort appears to be in the limelight of the federal investigation into alleged Russian interference in the presidential election, and any ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.

Manafort is a central figure in Mueller's expanding investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential campaign.

Rosenstein said Mueller would have to seek his permission to investigate matters that fall outside his mandate.

11-year-old girl severely burned in sick 'hot water challenge' prank
Children and teens seeing the fake challenge may not be aware of the lasting damage the boiling water can cause. Her mother told NY1 that her daughter is in a lot of pain, not only physical pain, but emotional pain too.

"Mr Manafort has consistently cooperated with law enforcement and other serious inquiries and did so on this occasion as well", said the spokesman. Graff has worked for the Trump Organization for nearly 30 years and has become a senior vice president whom ABC described as a supposed "gatekeeper" to Trump. "I did not want to make her relive this moment over and over again", Andrea Swift said. Reuters reports that Manafort has previously been represented by Miller & Chevalier's Richard Hibey, whose previous clients include Clair George, a former Central Intelligence Agency deputy director convicted of lying to Congress about the Iran-Contra scandal. And if he does fire Mueller and shut down the Russian Federation investigation, an enormous national firestorm will occur.

Recent media reports suggested that investigators have reached out to Manafort's son-in-law, with whom he'd entered into some real estate dealings.

"We don't engage in fishing expeditions", Rosenstein told Fox Sunday, using a phrase for an investigation that doesn't stick to a stated objective but hopes to uncover incriminating information.

"I haven't given it any thought", Trump said. "I have not heard any statement from Mueller's team to the media that those actions had any relation to my meeting with the son of the one of several then-[US presidential] Republican candidates", Veselnitskaya said. Recall he was the first Speaker to be slapped with a $300,000 penalty for ethics violations and he has much in common with Trump when it comes to marital fidelity.

Sources close to Manafort say he has already provided Congress with extensive documents in response to the requests from multiple committees.
