Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill finally makes a decision on treatment

Dolphins rookie linebacker Raekwon McMillan reportedly suffers torn ACL

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill will have reconstructive surgery on a partially torn ACL and miss the entire season, sources tell ESPN's Dan Graziano, confirming a Miami Herald report. Going under the knife this early means he should be a full-go for camp next season.

Tannehill suffered the injury while taking a tumble in practice last week.

Tannehill won the No. 1 QB job for Miami's opening game in his rookie season of 2012 and made 77 consecutive starts before his injury last season.

Miami will have a hard decision to make after this season. Miami then convinced Jay Cutler to postpone his broadcasting career to join the team on a one-year deal that will could pay him up to $13 million. In May, Cutler had retired from the National Football League and was hired by Fox Sports as a game analyst, but he is putting that off for a year.

Children and teens seeing the fake challenge may not be aware of the lasting damage the boiling water can cause. Her mother told NY1 that her daughter is in a lot of pain, not only physical pain, but emotional pain too.

Even before he has surgery, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase says Tannehill will be ready for the 2018 season.

Tannehill was able to help lead the Dolphins to the playoffs last season but has proven to be injury prone over the last few years.

But the year before, 2015, had been arguably Cutler's best statistically with 3,659 passing yards, a 64.6 completion percentage, and 21 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. The Dolphins consulted with specialists before the team and Tannehill decided on surgery. As with Cutler, Tannehill had enjoyed his best season under the tutelage of Gase, who was hired by Miami past year.
