Chelsea Offer £25 Million For Arsenal Midfielder

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed "hugely talented" Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to continue improving his all-round game, amid suggestions that he is wanted by Premier League rivals.

Sportsmail understands Chelsea have stepped up their interest in the England worldwide over the past week.

"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has a year left on his contract at Arsenal, they should be breaking the bank to bring that type of player to the club", Cunningham told RTE Sport.

Arsenal are keen to keep hold of the 23-year-old, but with just one year remaining on his current deal, and the Gunners being reluctant to meet his wage demands, they could be forced to cash in or face losing him for nothing next summer.

As per the Daily Star, Conte is a huge admirer of Oxlade-Chamberlain, and has highlighted him to the Chelsea board as a player he would like them to sign before the end of the transfer window.

Fox Business host Charles Payne is now suspended, pending the outcome of an investigation into his own sex harassment charges. The alleged lawsuit came within a day of Bolling telling his followers on Twitter, "I look forward to clearing my name asap".

The Mail claim that while Arsenal have rebuffed "initial overtures", Chelsea are set to "intensify" efforts.

Ther versatile Oxlade-Chamberlain has excelled in a wing back role of late for Arsenal and would fit in perfectly to Conte's 3-4-3 system.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both shown an interest in the player this summer.

"Last year he was much more stable".

"He is today very conscious of his qualities as well, which he was not always, and I personally believe he will be a very great player". He will continute to move up beecause the potential is there.
