Colin Kaepernick's switch to Baltimore Ravens looks unlikely

That normally wouldn't be big news, but Kaepernick has become an incredibly polarizing figure after kneeling during national anthems last season to draw attention to racial inequality in America.

The Ravens quickly contradicted that report in a team statement from Newsome. "I'll frame that this way: there are other positions we're looking at and I don't have any updates on those either".

Former All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis urged Colin Kaepernick Tuesday to tamp down his social activism amid reports that Lewis' former team, the Baltimore Ravens, are mulling whether to sign the free agent quarterback. "Steve Bisciotti has not told us we can not sign Colin Kaepernick, nor has he blocked the move".

Colin Kaepernick, who battled the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII in 2013, is still a free agent.

The Ravens were rumored to be interested in signing the controversial veteran despite opposition from their fan base, but speculation was immediately shot down Monday when Baltimore waived quarterback David Olson and signed fellow signal-caller Josh Woodrum. "I think it would be a good spot for him".

"All my years being in the league, I never received more emotional mail from people than I did about that issue", Mara said. Harbaugh has spoken directly about Kaepernick during training camp, acknowledging that the team is considering him.

President Trump reportedly 'personally dictated' Junior's misleading Russian Federation statement
But within 24 hours, highly damaging revelations had emerged that made clear the meeting had been much more charged than that. Did Don Jr. brief the president on the meeting? He was right - or at the very least, they're trying to save him from himself.

"You can't really say exactly when or when we might decide", he said.

"The football field is our sanctuary".

Harbaugh's brother Jim was Kaepernick's coach in San Francisco for four years.

Just last month, the former Baltimore icon had strong words for Kaepernick, saying he has to decide whether he wants "to play football or do you want to be an activist?"

Earlier in the video, Lewis stated that he prays for Kaepernick "more than you can ever imagine".
