Asus ZenFone 4 Series Tipped to Debut Next Month

Asus has announced that is bringing it's Zenfone AR smartphone to the UK. The images are accompanied by the caption "It's time to meet the new ZenFone 4", obviously suggesting that the device in question is nearing its debut.

Little else is said about the Zenfone 4, but recently the Zenfone 4 Max is reported to have launched in Russian Federation. As is usually the case with Asus smartphones, consumers in other markets will need to wait a few weeks longer to get their hands on the ZenFone 4 series smartphones.

There's no official word on what the Zenfone 4 that's being teased might offer, but we'll be excited to see Asus shake up smartphones in the United Kingdom a little.

The ZenFone 4 Selfie had made an appearance on the GFXBench database recently, so we do know that the handset sports a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution display and runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset under the hood. While the launch date of the new Zenfone 4 variants has been leaked, little is known about their features and specifications. The device is powered by Snapdragon 425/430 processor with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

Furthermore, the phone sports a dual rear cameras with 13 Megapixel with LED Flash light and other useful options, along with an 8 Megapixel of front facing camera for selfies and video calling. The ZenFone 4V is expected to be a Verizon Wireless variant of the ZenFone 4 and will be sold in the United States exclusively by the Big Red carrier.
