London Authorities Investigate Van Attack, Stabbings

The BBC reported that police arrested a man who "was handcuffed and had his shirt off" after the van traveled from central London toward the south end of the River Thames.

"He swerved right round me and then hit about five or six people".

A photo was also published of another man being arrested in the Vauxhall area of London, although police are now saying that the Vauxhall incident is not related to the coordinated terrorist attacks in London at London Bridge and Borough Market.

"Someone said, 'What is going on?' and one of the people running said, 'There is a man with a knife up there and he is coming this way.' There was complete panic as everyone ran to the back of the restaurant and crouched down trying to hide themselves from view", the witness said.

Will Heaven was at London Bridge shortly after the incident and wrote on Twitter that he had seen casualties - one on the pavement and one on the edge of the road.
