Overwatch Releases New Lore Detailing the Horizon Lunar Community

Overwatch is in the middle of its first Anniversary event, but that did not stop Blizzard from uploading a cryptic message that hints at upcoming new content for the massively popular multiplayer shooter.

A recent blog post indicated new details on the Horizon Lunar Colony map, which essentially means our heroes will be going to the Moon next. In a series of emails between scientists at the Horizon Lunar Colony, we get a few hints about who Overwatch's next hero - or villain - might be. The lunar colony went offline after the gorillas rebelled and nothing has been heard from it since.until this blog post appeared.

Later today, more news was found that showcased a connection with the colony and possible test subjects. What's interesting though, is that another character is also missing from the area: Hammond. The latter is apparently a "smaller test subject", meaning he might not be the brutish tank that Winston is. The station housed gorillas as part of an experiment to determine the effects of "prolonged habitation in space". Using a rocket ship, Winston escaped to Earth and joined Overwatch.

LeBron undaunted by challenge of facing Warriors in Finals
Everyone knew the two teams were on a collision course. "He's a guy who said he wanted us, and he has us starting next Thursday". For, to be blunt about it, it seems like James versus the entire Warrior crew is more like it.

Blizzard may be teasing the first look at a new Overwatch hero, and it might be a gorilla.

The arrival of the game's 25th hero could be imminent. The creators of Overwatch have previously stated that they would like more dynamic maps which is why they installed a jump pad in Oasis. But it could equally be likely that Blizzard is gearing up to launch new Overwatch animated shorts or new comic issue too.
