Moto's lineup of phones for 2017 is leaked, includes Moto G5s

Motorola came up with an interesting plan in 2016 regarding the replacement of its popular Moto X franchise with a new Moto Z brand. The Moto X is making a return after taking one year off last year and the short video presentation was shared on Baidu, a Chinese site. Due this year are the Moto X Play and Moto X Force. Although, the devices are named as Moto GS and Moto GS Plus in the purported leak image. As of this moment we do not have any details on the pricing or availability of the phone, but we do expect the Moto X 2017 and all its variants to release together in the month of September or later. The Lenovo-owned phone maker claims that its latest product lineup fulfills all basic functions of a smartphone while simultaneously being affordable and available in a broad range of color options. The leak shows that it will sport a full metal chassis with 3D glass, making for a premium look. The 2017 Moto E will come with a 5 inch display with 2.5D glass and a fingerprint sensor. Moto X4 will have a 3800 mAh battery. The entry level Moto C starts at $97 (Rs 6,221) and offers a 2,350mAh battery. Moto gS+ contains the 5.5-inch full HD display. It's been almost two years since the last release of the series and the phone has been rumored for quite some time now. The Moto C Plus with 1GB of RAM will cost €119, and there is no official confirmation about the 3GB RAM variant. Other rumors also hints at IP68 ratings fro dust and water resistance, dual-rear camera setup and Turbo Charge support. Moto G5 comes with the 13MP rear camera and a LED flashlight which captures images exceptionally well even in the low light. The Moto C range will sit under the Moto E range and will offer a no fills smartphone experience to the budget conscious consumer.

The Moto C and Moto C Plus are Motorola's newest phones.

And this is why you may have seen video earlier in the week of McCarthy driving her press podium on the streets of New York City. But if not, this was a fitting send-off for one of the more surprisingly indelible aspects of this season.

The picture itself is quite descriptive and self-explanatory: the Moto family has now grown to 5 letters, with the Z seemingly residing at the top of the hierarchy through its "unlimited capabilities". The Z2 Force will feature a shatterproof display and Snapdragon 835 SoC, while the Z2 Play will have Snapdragon 626 and 3000mAh battery.
