Princess Charlotte Turns 2, Royal Family Releases Photo

Kensington Palace has published a new photo of little Charlotte who will celebrate her two years this Tuesday, May 2.

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge (R), his wife Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge (L), Prince George (2nd R) and Princess Charlotte arrive to attend the morning Christmas Day service at St Mark's Church.

A statement from Kensington Palace read: 'The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments and hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do'.

The Duchess has previously released several pictures of her children taken by her.

A new picture of Princess Charlotte enjoying the outdoors, taken by her mother, has been released ahead of her second birthday.

The young princess is wearing a fluffy yellow cardigan decorated with sheep, and a clip in her hair.

Unlike her brother, who hammed it up for his close up at the same age, Charlotte appears more reserved in front of the camera.

Jason Bateman FINALLY signs up for Arrested Development season 5
Normally, "very probable" and "officially" don't go in the same announcement, and "this summer" offers only the slightest of time tables.

Her grandmother, Diana, Princess of Wales, tragically passed away before Charlotte and her big brother were born.

Princess Charlotte looks nothing less than adorable in the new portrait, and so much more grown up than the last time we saw her!

The family is expected to spend more time in London and less in the countryside as William takes up more royal duties and Prince George, 3, prepares to start school in the fall.

The Royal Highnesses' eldest child, Prince George will turn four-years-old in July.

Her second birthday marks the beginning of a busy month as she gets set to be the bridesmaid for her maternal aunt, Pippa Middleton, on May 20.

She was also seen several times while with her parents during a tour in Canada.

After moving to London, Prince George will be schooled at the private Thomas's Battersea school, his sister, probably, will be sent to a nursery later this year.
