Warner Bros Releases Trailer For 'Blade Runner' Sequel

A cyberpunk classic that has cast a vast shadow across pop culture since its release, influencing everything from "The Matrix" to "Battlestar Galactica" to "Westworld", the original "Blade Runner" has been renowned for its darkly lovely visual style and its haunting vision of an all-too-plausible future. When all three combine forces on Blade Runner 2049, the long-awaited sequel to the sci-fi classic, you get a movie where every single frame deserves to be paused, admired, and screenshot.

It's still unclear what characters a lot of them will play, but there are a number of big-name actors attached to this sequel, many of whom appear in the trailer.

Ford said the film explores some of the ethical considerations technology presents us with. Harrison Ford is also returning to his role as Deckard from the first film. The sequel's lead also features in the clip - Officer K, played by Ryan Gosling.

Preds reach 1st Western final in team history, ousting Blues
They are playing to be the first Predators team to win the first two series and play for a Western Conference title. Jaskin put the Blues in front at 5:43 of the second period, banging home a rebound off an Alex Pietrangelo shot.

Villeneuve said Deakins "went wild" on the sequel, describing it as "impressionistic".

"You were completely immersed in this universe, it was very impressive and overwhelming". "I never knew what I was going to get [in a scene with Ryan], which is a good thing". Original Blade Runner co-writer Hampton Fancher has also co-written the new film. Ridley Scott helmed the Reagan-era film and exec produced this time. Is Leto a Replicant with his eyes turning opaque (a telling sign for the androids in the first film) and glowing dots on his neck?

The first full length trailer shows off the all-star cast and some of the most gorgeous, surreal, science fiction visuals since 1982, thanks to director Denis Villeneuve (Arrival). The trailer ends with a character telling Gosling "you're special". Maybe Tyrell had a contingency plan that's come to light 30 years later.
