Hillary Clinton opens up about what cost her election

Hillary Clinton says she is taking responsibility for her 2016 election loss but believes misogyny, Russian interference and questionable decisions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation also played roles.

"If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president", Clinton said, thrusting herself back into the public spotlight before an audience watching the interview conducted by CNN's Christiane Amanpour at the Women in the World summit in NY. I was the person who was on the ballot. "Right?" Clinton said in a jab at Trump.

That was a reference to a letter sent from FBI director James Comey to Congress on October 28, 2016 which stated the federal investigator was looking into newly discovered messages that were linked to the private email server run by Clinton while Secretary of State. "Now the North Koreans are always interested ... in trying to get Americans to try to come to negotiate to elevate their status and their position and we should be very careful about giving that way".

Clinton promised to address sexism in her new book to be published this fall.

"I am not convinced that it really made much of a difference and I don't know what kind of potentially backroom deals were made with the Russians", Clinton said.

The popular vote has been a source of contention with Trump, who argues that he essentially won the popular vote over Hillary.

And the President is unlikely to take a pass at Clinton's unflattering description of his performance, including her renewal of her claim that he was unprepared for office.

Does Cal QB Davis Webb get selected in the first round?
The New York Giants shocked the masses on Friday, April 28 by drafting a quarterback in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Webb is a good developmental project and he didn't cost too much.

Clinton gave her inspirational speech in a room full of 1000 people - mostly women - including fellow fighter Meryl Streep.

Clinton did give credit to her hardworking staff and volunteers during the election campaign before saying that there it "wasn't a ideal campaign" because "there is no such thing". "I think other things did as well", Clinton said.

"A foreign power meddled with our election and did so in a way that we are learning more about every single day", she said.

Hillary Clinton, who has not shied away from critiquing President Donald Trump, will address two groups in New York Tuesday that have plenty of gripes with the new president. Clinton said during her keynote address at the annual conference hosted by the Professional BusinessWomen of California.

She also said she had no doubt that Russian President Vladimir Putin had tried to influence the election in support of Trump.

"Oh my gosh, yes, you'll read my confession and my request for absolution", she said, a reference to a book she is writing. Clinton has now given her supporters, many of whom believe she was cheated out of breaking the highest, hardest glass ceiling in politics, even more reasons to view Trump as illegitimate.
