Derek Jeter, Jeb Bush win auction for Miami Marlins

Marlins owner and CEO Jeffrey Loria, right, congratulates Marlins' player Marcell Ozuna.

But the group, which reportedly has more than five investors with Bush as the "control person", still needs at least 75% of Major League Baseball owners to approve the decision for it to become official.

Jeb Bush is a Wall Street-worshipping, vengeful political bully who cursed the world with Marco Rubio, birthed a comically failed charter school movement and comes from the most unbearable political family outside of Trump Tower. Major League Baseball only permits 40 percent financing of the team, so a Jeter-Bush group would presumably have to come up with $780 million to lock up the team.

Other bidders were Quogue Capital LLC founder Wayne Rothbaum, and Solamere Capital co-founder Tagg Romney, whose group included former All-Star pitcher Tom Glavine. The transaction would be subject to the approval of at least 23 of baseball's 30 owners, whose next meeting is in May. "The person declined to say how much the group paid for the team, which is owned by NY art dealer Jeff Loria".

In the wake of the earlier reports now come multiple reports that, yes, Derek Jeter and Jeb Bush are in agreement to purchase the Miami Marlins.

Panel moots UID numbers for cows
The ambitious project will be concluded by the end of this year and comes at a cost of Rs 148 crore. As per the report, almost one lakh technicians have been armed with 50,000 tablets.

The former New York Yankees star and former Florida governor have joined forces in their pursuit of the Miami Marlins, a person familiar with the situation said Wednesday.

It's uncertain what role Jeter would have with the Marlins if the sale goes through.

"Derek Jeter is literally the anti Loria for those NY transplanted fans who swear they would never cheer this team". Who knows when that is, who knows if you get the opportunity.

A source told the Herald that Bush would be the "control person", and would have ultimate control of the franchise.

When Jeter, who lives in Tampa, retired after the 2014 season, he expressed interest in owning a baseball franchise.
