Trump admin. declines to brand China a currency manipulator

Mr. Trump is working to enlist China's help to quell North Korea's nuclear power, but has said the US will handle North Korea alone if China doesn't intervene.

"We will see what happens!" Instead, the first currency review of the Trump administration singled out China and five other countries as needing to be monitored for their currency practices.

President Trump addresses the nation following the USA launching a military strike on a Syrian government target on April 6, 2017 in retaliation for their chemical weapons attack on civilians earlier in the week.

"They're not currency manipulators", Trump told the Wall Street Journal, adding that China hasn't been manipulating its currency for months. The North Korean Foreign Ministry said earlier this day that the alleged missile launch had not been announced officially, though it's Pyongyang's "sovereign right" to conduct such tests.

Though he missed the second game between Praneeth and Srikanth, Gopichand was certain that it would head to a decider. Praneeth continued to dominate the proceedings and moved to a 20-17 lead when Srikanth made a service error.

On Friday, the U.S. Treasury released its semi-annual trade report, which failed to label China a currency manipulator as Trump had previously stated. Overall imports from North Korea to China, however, have increased.

"I think China has tremendous control over North Korea, whether they say so or not".

North Korea attempted a failed missile test over the weekend, and has threatened a preemptive nuclear strike if it believes the USA will attack.

On Saturday, thousands of protestors in a dozen US cities took to the streets to protest Trump's decision not to release his tax returns.
