Marshawn Lynch will eventually sign with Raiders

Most expensive stadium ever coming to Las Vegas epicenter of the last housing boom

Former Colts punter Pat McAfee started the chaos by tweeting comments he heard from someone at the Raiders facility. An NFL source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that a deal between the Raiders and Lynch "will eventually happen".

What a story it would be for Marshawn to come out of retirement, and play for his hometown team in Oakland.

While there appears to be mutual interest from the running-back-strapped Raiders and Lynch, there are still more than a few potential hurdles in the way of Lynch returning and donning the silver and black this year.

The Raiders lost running back Latavius Murray, so we should view this position as a weakness, right? The Seahawks would have to trade or release him.

Lynch, who turns 31 on April 22, retired from the National Football League and Seahawks after the 2015 season. The NFL approved the move to Las Vegas last week and the Raiders are expected to begin play there in 2020. Pairing Lynch with jitterbugs DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard would complete Oakland's backfield.

Roger Federer, Microsoft's Gates to play doubles for charity
Federer said he arrived at Key Biscayne with low expectations, given his heavy workload of late, and felt exhausted in the final. Spending time with his young family is also a consideration said Federer, as well as the need to keep himself motivated.

In his final season in 2015, Lynch rushed for 417 yards and three touchdowns on 111 carries.

Should Lynch come out of retirement, he is line for a salary cap hit of $9 million in 2017 and a base salary of $7 million in 2018.

But the simpler way to do it would be for the Raiders and Seahawks to agree on some sort of compensation that would allow Lynch to join the Raiders immediately.

Last week, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he met with Lynch about a possible comeback and said the running back was "somewhat entertaining" the idea of it. "You've got to talk to him".
